-
Please be respectful of our number one rule - NO GLASS is to be brought onto the property. The venue is a bushland setting and glass doesn’t break down. This is a safety precaution that we take very seriously. It’s put in place to protect everyone that visits Dashville.
-
Strictly NO BYO into the festival arena area. We have a fully stocked bar and a bunch of food options on offer throughout the day/night, catering for all dietary requirements. And coffee - we've got great coffee.
You can bring your own food and drinks into the camping area, just remember - NO GLASS.
-
Yes, you will have access to drinking water around the site but as we are on tank water, we strongly recommend bringing your own to help lighten the load.

*ALL FESTIVAL TICKETS COME WITH OPTIONAL CAMPING*
The campground is located directly outside and around the arena, so it’s a simple case of walking from your campsite through the gate and into the arena. At worst case, this could be up to 200m if you're camped at the extremity of the campground.
Tent Camping - You are allowed to bring whatever camp set up that suits your group or person, including large bell tents, though we ask that you consider not taking up too much space if it is not necessary. This means you must leave your vehicle in the day parking area and carry your camping gear to your campsite.
If you wish to bring your car into the campground, you must purchase a car pass.Van & Caravan Camping - you need to purchase a car and/or trailer pass to bring your vehicle and caravan into the campground.
Vans over 20ft - you need to purchase a Caravan Pass and must be registered to ensure suitable space is available.
If you have a large van, and would like to camp with non-large-van-pals we'll do our best to keep you together but can't guarantee this. Best to arrive together.
Glamping - As an optional extra, you can book a Glamping tent, which will be set up prior to your arrival.

Yes, but this requires a car pass that can be purchased in addition to your Festival pass on the Humanitix website where you purchase your festival tickets. *see note below…
You can always leave your car in the free Day Parking area for the duration of your stay. There is a question at the end of the check out process which lets us know you need a car space in the free day parking area.
*PLEASE NOTE: Due to an increase in the size of camping set ups, which affects our campground capacity, we have had to update our ticketing to include car and trailer passes. All tickets still include the option to camp, but it is essentially a walk-in camp set up, unless you book a car or trailer pass. This is the first time we have approached it like this, so thank you whilst we trial this new system. If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us before booking.

Each individual pass has it’s own ticket type, please read the relevant info for your specific needs before purchasing (all the info is supplied on the Humanitix website).

The campground is expansive but is at the mercy of the natural vegetation and at the last couple of festivals there has been some issues with caravans acquiring excessive space (which in turn eats into the space of those with a more humble set up). You can still bring your caravan/camper but if it is over 20ft you will need to register and purchase a pass for it beforehand. These are limited in number to allow us to control the amount of caravans into the site and better facilitate space requirements for all.
Caravan passes can be purchased on the Humanitix website where you purchase your festival tickets.
-
We have seen an increase in large caravans over 20ft. These big boppers are awesome, and we always welcome luxury if that's your thing, but please know with the increase in large caravans we have the same amount of space as always.
Once the whole kit and kaboodle is out, awning and ute, a lot of space is taken up in comparison to someone in a standard van or tent. To keep track of space, you must register and purchase a Caravan pass befor. you arrive.
Please be considerate and don't "lock off" a space by strategically parking your van and ute with friends to claim more space. There's loads of glorious space at Dashville, and no bad camping spot.Over 20ft Caravan passes can be purchased on the Humanitix website where you purchas your festival tickets.
-
There will be spots allocated around the site for big rigs to park. You can still camp with your friends, please arrive together. Bigger means heavier, and not all spots on Dashville soil will support a heavy rig. If our camp ushers direct you to a spot please head there... we don't want you to fall into a hole/ get bogged. Remember, there's no such thing as a bad campsite at Dashville!
-
No. However, if you have a medical condition that requires powered equipment, please email us on mail@dashville.com.au and we will do our very best to have you connected to power.

There will be live music and the bar and Ruby's Pizzeria will be open serving up goodness. -
If you want to camp with mates, we recommend arriving together or as closely together as possible, especially if you have a caravan over 20ft as there will be specific spots for you to camp - please note - any caravans over 20ft will need to purchase a pass beforehand. These are limited in number to allow us to control the amount of caravans onto the site and better facilitate space requirements for all.
Caravans are restricted to certain areas of the campground. For this reason, please ensure you follow directions provided on arrival.. You can still camp with your friends, we'll make sure you're on solid ground now that there are more big rigs getting around. Reserving space can get tricky, as we have a lot of campers to fit in. It's definitely best to arrive when gates open to get the best spot.
-
No personal fires in the campground. Do not bring firewood. We are bound by State fire restrictions, and the campground and surrounding areas are very much dense bushland. We generally have communal fires inside the arena, which you are welcome to sit around until 3am... if that helps.

You are allowed to bring gas bottles, but only if they are in service date (keeping in mind we have amazing food stalls including coffee, so you probably don't really need one). We will have to confiscate gas bottles at the gate that are not within their service date.
-
As The Gum Ball is a celebration of music and culture, campers will inevitably throw on some tunes in their respective camp areas. We simply ask that you be respectful and kill the volume at a reasonable hour.
At midnight, when the festival’s live music finishes, there should not be any music played in the campground.
-
Small generators are permitted but please be respectful of your fellow patrons in regards to noise. Switch off the genny when others are trying to sleep.
